Agora uses Stripe Payments with modern PSD2 / 3DS2 biometric authentication and a secure escrow-style pre-authorization hold. You are never billed upfront before service delivery; funds are held in reserve and only captured once the cleaning job is verified and completed.
Step-by-Step Web Guide
1. Card Pre-Authorization at Booking
When booking, a temporary pre-authorization hold is placed on your card to reserve the cleaner's schedule.
2. Free Cancellation Window (>20 Hours)
Cancel any booking at search.agora.cleaning/bookings/ more than 20 hours in advance for a 100% free refund.
3. Standby Compensation Window (<20 Hours)
Cancellations between 20h and 2h before start incur a 50% standby fee to compensate the cleaner for reserved time.
4. Final Capture upon Job Completion
Payment is captured automatically once the cleaner uploads final room photos and sign-off.
